Edition 2025 — Saint Vincent the Martyr

On August 19, 2025, the Saint Vincent the Martyr Festival returned to Tione degli Abruzzi, a traditional summer appointment in the Aterno Valley village. The Tionesi community gathered around the Saint with the usual religious rites, Holy Mass, and procession, accompanied by civil festivities animated by local volunteers and the brass band, in an atmosphere of devotion and conviviality that drew residents and vacationers.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Vincent the Martyr Festival took place in Tione degli Abruzzi on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, renewing a deeply felt appointment for the small community of the Aterno Valley, in the province of L'Aquila.

The day followed the traditional schedule of a village festival: religious rites in honor of Saint Vincent the Martyr, with Holy Mass and the procession through the village streets, and moments of civil celebration animated by local volunteers and the brass band. In 2025 as well, the celebration represented a meeting point for the many Tionesi emigrants who returned to the village to share devotion, memory, and conviviality in the heart of the Abruzzese summer.
