Saint Valentine's Festival of Lurago Marinone

In 2025, the Saint Valentine's Festival in Lurago Marinone reached its 344th edition, taking place from August 29 to September 1. The procession with Saint Valentine's urn, which began in the afternoon to reach the parish church, represented the most heartfelt religious moment, while the evenings offered illuminations, music, games, stalls, and the traditional fireworks. At the food stalls, traditional specialties were not lacking, from snails to polenta. Organized by Pro Loco Lurago Marinone, the festival confirmed its role as the symbolic event of the Como village and the guardian of a centuries-old tradition.
