Saint Valentine and Lo Camentràn Carnival in Courmayeur

In February 2025, Courmayeur renewed its most cherished winter events. The feast of Saint Valentine, the resort's winter patron saint, brought music, finger food, and tastings to the town centre, symbolically celebrating the return of light to the village. A few days later, Lo Camentràn animated the streets with parades of the Lé Beuffons and Badochys de Courmayeur, allegorical floats, and the traditional distribution of minestrone. Amidst masks, colours, and ancient flavours, the Aosta Valley community experienced a carnival true to its roots, confirming its strong connection to traditional mountain culture.
