Edition 2025 — Saint Thomas Aquinas
The 2025 edition of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Festival took place in the heart of the Thomistic anniversaries: approximately 800 years since the Saint's birth (1225), following the 750th anniversary of his death celebrated in 2024. On March 7th, Cardinal Beniamino Stella presided over the solemn celebration, invited by the diocesan bishop Monsignor Gerardo Antonazzo, in the places linked to the life of Saint Thomas, between Aquino and Roccasecca.
As per tradition, the eve of March 6th saw the lighting of the faoni, while the days combined the liturgical dimension of the Pontifical Mass in the Co-Cathedral Basilica with the popular devotion of the Aquino community and the entire Diocese of Sora-Cassino-Aquino-Pontecorvo.
