Saint Stephen Patronal Feast

The 2025 Saint Stephen Patronal Feast was held in Taurisano from August 2 to 4. The edition marked the start of a new thematic thread focused on the passage of time through the four seasons, expressed in the decorations and illuminations of the historic center.

As per tradition, the religious program featured the preparation triduum, holy masses, and the solemn procession of the patron saint's statue at the Mother Church of Saint Stephen, with the return candlelight vigil. The secular part featured brass band concerts, food stands with Salento specialties, and fireworks displays to conclude the evenings. The festival confirmed its role as a major gathering moment for the community of Taurisano, in the Province of Lecce.
