Edition 2025 — Saint Sinforosa
In July 2025, Tossicia renewed its devotion to its patron saint with the traditional Saint Sinforosa Festival. The village of Teramo, in the Gran Sasso National Park, experienced a solemn mass and a procession of the martyr saint through the streets of the historic center, a moment of gathering and identity for the entire community.
The 2025 Saint Sinforosa Festival took place in Tossicia (Teramo) in keeping with the patronal tradition of the Abruzzese village. The celebrations, centered on the Parish Church of Saint Sinforosa, saw the community gather around its patron saint with a solemn mass and the procession of the saint's statue. An event that every year renews Tossicia's bond with the martyr venerated since medieval times, in the heart of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.
