Saint Sebastian Festival – Summer Celebration (Patronal Feast)

The 2025 summer festival of Saint Sebastian in Ferla renewed the rites of the Iblean tradition: the triduum, the "Curruta" of the statue on the evening of July 19th, and, on July 20th, the "Scisa de Nudi" followed by the "Nisciuta" at 12:00 PM, with fireworks, the throwing of nzareddi, and brass bands. The month of July in Ferla offered a rich program, from the "Mappe di nuvole" poetry festival to the Lorenzo Fragola concert on July 19th. The patronal day concluded in the evening with the concert by Taranta Nova and Ylenia Cozzolino in the square.
