Saint Sebastian Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Sebastian Festival in Agira confirmed the vitality of an ancient devotion. In the Church of Santa Margherita, in the province of Enna, the saint's silver reliquary bust was displayed for the veneration of the faithful, as happens only on this January occasion.

The celebrations included religious services, the participation of civil and military authorities, and the traditional floral tribute from the Municipal Police, of whom Saint Sebastian is the patron saint. The festival also served as a gathering point for the entire Agira community, faithful to a cult passed down for centuries.
