Saint Sebastian Feast (Winter)

On January 20, 2025, the community of Pagliara celebrated the winter patronal feast of Saint Sebastian, its patron saint. As every year, the central moment was the procession of the fercolo with the martyr's statue through the streets of the historic center of the Peloritani village, in the province of Messina. The day, marked by religious services and traditional folk rites, confirmed the deep devotion of the locals towards their patron, shared with the numerous Sicilian towns that venerate Saint Sebastian on January 20th.
