Edition 2025 — Saint Romulus

On Sunday, July 6, 2025, Fiesole celebrated its patron Saint Romulus. The day, preceded on July 5 by the First Vespers in the Cathedral, featured a concelebrated Mass presided over by Archbishop Monsignor Mario Dino Brogi, the procession with the saint's relics from Santa Maria Primerana to the Cathedral, and in the evening, the Giuseppe Verdi Philharmonic concert at the Roman Theatre followed by traditional fireworks.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Romulus Festival in Fiesole took place between July 5 and 6. The eve featured First Vespers in the Cathedral, while the Sunday of the feast opened with a concelebrated Mass presided over by Archbishop Monsignor Mario Dino Brogi.

In the afternoon, the solemn procession with the relics of the Patron Saint was held, starting from Santa Maria Primerana and arriving at the Cathedral. In the evening, the Roman Theatre hosted the concert by the Giuseppe Verdi Philharmonic of Fiesole, with free admission and voluntary donations, followed by the final fireworks display. The traditional fair market took place along Via Portigiani, while the 17th Palio, a work by artist Francesco Kalivacci, was displayed and carried in the procession.
