Edition 2025 — Saint Roch

The 2025 edition of the Saint Roch Festival took place on Saturday, August 16, in Pitigliano. On the patron saint's day, the tuff village renewed its traditional historical procession with the Corteo del Villano and the torchbearers, the solemn Mass in the Cathedral presided over by Bishop Bernardino Giordano, the procession with the sacred image of the saint, the tombola in Piazza della Repubblica, and the musical evening at Capisotto.

The 2025 Saint Roch Festival was celebrated on Saturday, August 16, in the historic center of Pitigliano (GR), on the day of the patron saint. The day opened in the late afternoon with the historical procession toward the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, enlivened by the Corteo del Villano and the torchbearers in traditional attire, and the transfer of the statue of Saint Roch from his church to the Cathedral.

This was followed by the solemn Mass, presided over by Bishop Monsignor Bernardino Giordano, and the religious procession with the sacred image of the saint through the streets of the village. The tombola draw was held in Piazza della Repubblica, while in the evening, near the Capisotto district, the festival continued with a musical performance that closed the day of devotion and tradition.
