Edition 2025 — Saint Roch Festival

On August 16, 2025, Cittareale celebrated the patronal feast in honor of Saint Roch. In the small village of the Upper Velino Valley, in the province of Rieti, the community gathered for the High Mass and the traditional procession of the saint's statue through the streets of the historic center, renewing a tradition deeply rooted in the identity of the village and the Reatine Apennines.

Saint Roch Festival 2025

On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the village of Cittareale, in the province of Rieti, held its patronal feast dedicated to Saint Roch. The community gathered for the High Mass and the procession of the patron saint's statue along the streets of the historic center.

As every year, the event represented one of the most important moments of the summer for the village in the Upper Velino Valley, an occasion for devotion, meeting, and reunion for residents and those returning to Cittareale during the summer period.
