Saint Roch Festival of Monchio delle Corti

The 2025 edition of the Saint Roch Festival was held, as is tradition, on August 16th in Monchio delle Corti, in the Apennines of the Province of Parma. The celebration, dedicated to the patron saint of travelers and pilgrims, was part of a particularly busy summer calendar, which in August offered festivals, local fairs, and community events in the various hamlets of the village.

The festival, deeply linked to popular devotion evidenced by the numerous votive shrines dedicated to Saint Roch scattered throughout the municipal territory, reaffirmed its role as an attraction for residents and holidaymakers, during a period when the Parma mountains experience their greatest liveliness.
