Saint Roch Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Roch Festival in Alì Terme (Messina) took place on August 16th, confirming the traditional calendar of the patronal feast of the small Ionian thermal town.

The day opened with the marching band and three Holy Masses in the morning, culminating at 11:00 AM in the Solemn Mass at the parish church of San Rocco, followed by the blessing of the dogs. In the afternoon, at 6:30 PM, the procession with the venerated statue of the patron saint crossed the seafront and Via Francesco Crispi, accompanied by the faithful. After the Mass in Piazza Beata Maddalena Morano, the distribution of the blessed bread of Saint Roch followed. In the evening, stalls with local products and fireworks over the sea concluded the celebrations.
