Edition 2025 — Saint Rita Festival

In 2025, the Saint Rita Festival animated the Santa Rita district of Lanciano with a calendar of religious and secular events organized by the Spirito Santo Parish and the "Le Rita's" committee. The novena from May 13th to 21st was followed on the 21st by the mass of the Transitus of Saint Rita, and on the 22nd by the solemn mass with a procession through the streets of the district, accompanied by the Archconfraternity and the lights that decorated the neighborhood.

2025 Edition

In May 2025, the Spirito Santo Church, in the Santa Rita district of Lanciano (Chieti), hosted the festival in honor of Saint Rita of Cascia. The program, curated by the parish and the "Le Rita's" neighborhood committee — a group of local volunteers — combined religious celebrations with moments of festivity.

The novena took place from May 13th to 21st; on May 21st, the mass of the Transitus of Saint Rita was celebrated, while on May 22nd, the saint's feast day, the solemn mass was followed by a procession through the streets of the district with the participation of the Archconfraternity. To complete the atmosphere, festive lights and floral decorations crocheted by the committee volunteers, featuring thousands of roses, adorned the church.
