Edition 2025 — Saint Peter Feast
In 2025, the Saint Peter Patronal Feast once again represented one of the most cherished events of the year for Casape. In the small municipality of the Metropolitan City of Rome, the August 18th commemoration combined the religious dimension with the community spirit, drawing residents, families, and visitors to the village.
As is customary, the most anticipated moment was the procession with the statue of the patron saint through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the faithful and local authorities. Liturgical celebrations in the parish church marked the day in an atmosphere of reflection and popular participation that has been passed down for generations.
The feast confirmed the identity value of this tradition for the community of Casape, a village in the Monti Prenestini overlooking the Aniene Valley, where devotion to Saint Peter continues to mark the calendar of village life.
