Edition 2025 — Saint Peter Patronal Feast

In 2025, Barberino Tavarnelle celebrated its patron saint, Saint Peter, with three days of events around June 29th. The Pieve di San Pietro in Bossolo hosted the solemn Holy Mass and the concert by soloists from the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, while the program featured a historical study day and the "A Day as an Archaeologist" children's workshop.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Peter Patronal Celebrations reaffirmed the identity of the festival, born after the merger of the municipalities of Barberino Val d'Elsa and Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. The heart of the events was the Pieve di San Pietro in Bossolo, with the religious celebration on June 29th and the customary classical music concert on the church lawn. The program combined the religious dimension, the cultural aspect — with the study day on local heritage — and the community spirit, in a festival that strengthens the bond between the inhabitants of the new municipality and their territory every year.
