Saint Paul the Apostle Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Paul the Apostle Festival in Pozzallo was celebrated, as per tradition, in the last week of June, with the highlight on June 29th, the day of Saints Peter and Paul. On June 25th, the wooden statue was moved from its niche to the main altar of the Church of Saint Paul, kicking off the five days of festivities.

Among the most heartfelt moments was the procession of the statue along the town streets, opened by the evocative «Sciuta» with fireworks. On the popular side, Saturday evening hosted the 27th Sagra ro pani cunzatu, featuring the tasting of the typical Iblean seasoned bread, while the «Una voce per San Paolo» singing competition brought the musical talents of Pozzallo and the Ragusa area to the stage.
