Saint Paul the Apostle Feast — Patronal Festival of Solarino

The 2025 Saint Paul the Apostle Feast in Solarino, in the province of Syracuse, was celebrated from July 27 to August 3, 2025, with Piazza del Plebiscito as the main venue.

The highlight day, Sunday, August 3, featured the morning alborata with cannon fire and the brass band tour, followed at noon by Mass and the first exit of the statue carried on the shoulders of devotees, with the traditional offering of newborns to the saint. In the afternoon, the solemn Mass with authorities took place, and in the evening, the long procession of the statue on the triumphal float through the town streets.

The day concluded in Piazza del Plebiscito with a musical show and the return of the statue to the church, greeted by fireworks. The event was broadcast live on local social media channels, confirming its status as the most important identity event of the Municipality of Solarino.
