Saint Nicholas Patronal Feast (Summer Edition)

The 2025 edition of the summer Saint Nicholas Patronal Feast renewed in Salve, in lower Salento, a ritual that combines devotion and popular joy. In the heart of the town, in the province of Lecce, the evenings of late July saw the great bands of the Apulian tradition and pop music concerts take turns on stage, while the streets of the historic center were lit up with typical Salento illuminations.

As every year, the festival represented a meeting point for residents, vacationers, and those living away who returned to the village for the summer, amidst food stalls, traditional sweets, and the warm atmosphere that characterizes the patronal feasts of the Capo di Leuca. An appointment that confirmed the affection of the Salve community for its protector and the vitality of local traditions.
