The 15th edition of the Saint Nicholas Historical Pageant was held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, celebrating the 719th anniversary (1306-2025) of the Saint's patronage over Rutigliano. The procession departed at 8:00 PM from Piazza Colamussi, in the Old Town, with around 150 participants in medieval attire.

After crossing the main city streets, the parade concluded in Piazza XX Settembre, where actress Clara Misceo, dressed as a noblewoman from 14th-century Rutigliano, announced the king's decision. Archpriest Ursone, played by Francesco Calò, then proclaimed Saint Nicholas the patron of the city after illustrating his virtues. A painting by artist Grazia Dibattista, depicting Saint Nicholas protecting medieval Rutigliano, was carried on a vintage cart. The event, conceived by journalist and historian Gianni Capotorto, was organized by the Crucifix and Saint Nicholas Festival Committee.
