Edition 2025 — Saint Nicholas Soriano
The 2025 edition of the Saint Nicholas Festival in Soriano nel Cimino, organized by the local Pastoral Unit, opened with a preparatory triduum: from December 3rd to 5th, every evening at 6:00 PM, the Cathedral hosted vespers followed by holy mass, offering moments of reflection and prayer in anticipation of the patronal solemnity.
On Saturday, December 6th, the day of Saint Nicholas of Bari, the 5:00 PM solemn mass in the Cathedral included the traditional blessing of the Bambinelli, the Baby Jesus figurines intended for family nativity scenes. At 6:00 PM, the procession moved through the main streets of the historic center accompanied by a brass band, concluding in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II with the lighting of the Christmas tree, which inaugurated the Christmas calendar of the Cimini Mountains village, later culminating in "Natale al Castello".
