Edition 2025 — Saint Nicholas Festival of Palagiano

In 2025, Palagiano also celebrated its Saint Nicholas Festival during the last weekend of May, with the usual program of religious rites and civic festivities. The procession with the saint's statue, the 'La Caravella' historical pageant, brass band concerts, light displays, and fireworks animated the town center, confirming a tradition deeply rooted in the community of the province of Taranto.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Nicholas Festival in Palagiano, Puglia, featured the same calendar that has characterized the event for years: liturgical celebrations at the Church of Saint Nicholas, the solemn procession with the saint's effigy through the streets of the town, and the engaging 'La Caravella' historical costume pageant, a true jewel of the Palagiano tradition.

On the civic side, there was no shortage of grand brass band concerts in the bandstand, artistic light displays illuminating the streets of the center, evening entertainment shows, and fireworks to close the festivities, along with market stalls and rides for families.
