Saint Nicholas Bishop Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Nicholas Bishop Festival in San Salvo was held on June 14 and 15. On Saturday, after the Holy Mass with the blessing of the Saint Nicholas Bread celebrated by Archbishop Mauro Lalli, the arrival of the statue from the sea at the Le Marinelle port took place with fireworks and the candlelight vigil towards Piazza San Nicola. On Sunday, the solemn Mass by Monsignor Pietro Santoro, Bishop Emeritus of Avezzano, preceded the procession with the Miraculous Manna. The festival concluded with a musical evening featuring a cover band of 883 and Max Pezzali and the drawing of the traditional Saint Nicholas Lottery.
