2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Saint Michael the Archangel Patronal Feast took place in Montopoli di Sabina, in the province of Rieti, from September 20th to 29th. As every year, the calendar alternated between moments of devotion and secular celebration, concluding on September 29th with the solemnity dedicated to the Archangel.
The program included religious celebrations and a procession with the patron saint's statue, the collective painting exhibition set up for the entire duration of the event, the «L'Olivo d'Oro» variety show, musical and theatrical evenings in the historic center, as well as tournaments and activities for families.
As per tradition, the gastronomic part was highly popular: the Fried Pizza Festival, served both sweet and savory, and the Fregnacce alla Sabinese Festival attracted visitors from all over the Sabina region, accompanied by typical local products and local extra virgin olive oil.
