Saint Michael the Archangel 2025 in Maletto
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, Maletto celebrated the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, patron of its first and oldest parish, as part of the traditional "Month of the Saints" that enlivens the small municipality in the Province of Catania for most of September.
The most heartfelt moment was the procession of the statue of the saint, carried on shoulders through the town streets, including the characteristic descent of Via Roma. The Maletto community, together with emigrants returning for the occasion, accompanied the warrior archangel in an atmosphere of celebration and popular devotion at the foot of Mount Etna.
