The Saint Michael the Archangel Festival, patron of the hamlet of Villasmundo (Municipality of Melilli, province of Syracuse), saw its highlight in 2025 on Sunday, September 28, in Piazza Risorgimento. The day combined religious celebration with popular festivities, featuring food stalls, entertainment, and spaces dedicated to families, young people, and visitors.
The Zero Assoluto concert
The highlight of the evening was the free concert by Zero Assoluto, the pop duo that defined Italian music in the 2000s with hits like "Semplicemente", "Svegliarsi la mattina", and "Per dimenticare". The event, included in the Melilli summer calendar, drew a large crowd to the square.
