Edition 2025 — St. Michael's Fair

In 2025, the Saint Michael's Fair renewed its ancient late September tradition in Tirano: the large market along the city streets, the hobbyist market, and the sale of the 'Scudo di San Michele' attracted visitors from all over Valtellina.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Michael's Fair confirmed the deep bond between Tirano and its oldest fair. The main streets of the centre were filled with stalls, hobbyists, and stands selling local products, while the sale of the 'Scudo di San Michele' — the sweet bread symbol of the event — renewed a ritual that has accompanied the people of Tirano for generations. The fair, established in 1514, continues to be one of the most cherished autumn events in Valtellina, a testament to the city's historic commercial vocation.
