Saint Mary Magdalene Patronal Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Mary Magdalene Patronal Festival was held from July 19 to 22 in the Maddalena hamlet of Pontechianale, organized by the five massari in charge.

The festival opened on Saturday, July 19 with a concert by the Occitan music group I Paure Diau. On Sunday the 20th, face-painting activities for children took place, and in the afternoon, the presentation of the book "Maria Maddalena: una rosa sul cuore dell'agnello" by Elena Cecchetto at the chapel. On Monday the 21st, the traditional procession through the village to the lake took place, accompanied by the Brossasco Musical Band. On Tuesday the 22nd, the patron saint's day, the morning mass was held in the chapel, followed by the customary auction to support church maintenance, and in the evening, the polenta feast with traditional dances starting at 7:30 PM.
