Edition 2025 — Saint Mary Magdalene

The 2025 edition of the Saint Mary Magdalene Feast took place from July 21st to 23rd, featuring three intense days of faith, music, and tradition. Opened by solemn vespers and a procession with the symbolic handing over of the city keys to the saint in Piazza Umberto I, the festivities featured brass band concerts and live music, amidst lights and market stalls, concluding with the traditional fireworks display.

The patronal feast of Saint Mary Magdalene in Uggiano la Chiesa was celebrated in 2025 from July 21st to 23rd, with three days of religious and secular celebrations in the historic center of the Salento village. On July 21st, at 6:00 PM, solemn vespers were held, followed at 6:30 PM by the procession with the saint's statue and the evocative handing over of the city keys to Saint Mary Magdalene in Piazza Umberto I.

The musical program featured the "Città di Rutigliano" brass band on July 21st and the Castellana Band on the 22nd, while on July 23rd, at 9:30 PM, a live concert by Antonio Amato took place. Festive lights decorated the main streets of the town, and the festival concluded with a fireworks display.
