Saint Mary Magdalene Festival - Prato San Pietro

The 2025 edition of the Saint Mary Magdalene Festival filled the hamlet of Prato San Pietro in Cortenova, Valsassina, with a calendar spanning sport, religion, conviviality, and music.

The festival opened on the late afternoon of Friday, July 18th, with the Valsassina Bike Cup, a mountain bike race on a circuit of about 8 kilometers, followed around 7:30 PM by a running race open to everyone, with different distances for adults and children. The festivities concluded with mass at the small chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene in Taecc, reachable by jeep shuttle service, in an atmosphere of celebration and community sharing.
