Edition 2025 — Saint Mary Magdalene

The 2025 edition of the Saint Mary Magdalene Festival in Alimena took place from August 30th to September 1st, featuring religious rites, the alborata, brass bands, a fair, and the solemn procession of the statue. The grand finale of the festivities was held on the evening of September 1st in Piazza Antonio Alimena with a concert dedicated to young musical talents.

The 2025 edition concluded on the evening of September 1st in Piazza Antonio Alimena with a free-admission concert that attracted audiences from neighboring towns. On stage were young talents Maninni, Follya, and Ary, for an evening of energy and pop music, in line with the musical tradition that has characterized Alimena's patronal festivities for years.

Rites and the fair

In the preceding days, religious rites were held in the Mother Church alongside popular festivities, with the fair along the town's main street and the procession of the 18th-century statue of the patron saint through the streets of the Madonie village.
