Saint Mark the Evangelist Festival and Agricultural Fair

The 2025 edition of the Saint Mark the Evangelist Festival took place in Baucina, in the province of Palermo, on April 24th and 25th, organized by the committee for the festivities in honor of Saint Mark.

The program respected the secular tradition of the village: the descent of the statue from the Church of Saint Mark, the pilgrimage to the Mother Church, the 'ntinna on the churchyard, and the flight of the paper balloons. On April 25th, after the Solemn Mass, the procession of the saint through the village streets was animated by the volate degli angeli and the parade of drummers. There was also the agricultural tool fair and the food festival of local products, with sausage, ricotta, sfince, and pasta ca frittedda.
