Edition 2025 — Saint Mark's Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Mark's Festival in Prato Sesia, in the Province of Novara, was cancelled. The Pro Loco decided to suspend the event, which was scheduled for late April at the Saint Mark's Chapel, as a sign of respect and mourning for the passing of Pope Francis, in agreement with the parish priest. The decision, made the evening before the festival, was communicated through the association's social media channels.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Mark's Festival in Prato Sesia did not take place. The Pro Loco, led by president Pierangela Lovati, decided to cancel the event as a sign of respect for the passing of Pope Francis, while awaiting the pontiff's funeral.

The planned program included Mass at the Saint Mark's church, an outdoor lunch, and games with music in the afternoon. The decision was made in agreement with the parish priest, Father Fulvio Trombetta, and communicated via the Pro Loco's social media channels the evening before the event.
