Edition 2025 — Saint Margaret Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Margaret Festival in Licodia Eubea celebrated the patron saint on Sunday, July 20th. After a full month of preparatory rites, novenas, and relic exhibitions, the solemnity culminated with morning masses and the evening procession of the 16th-century statue at 8:30 PM, featuring the traditional offering of natural gifts and fireworks from Castello Santapau.

In 2025, the Saint Margaret Festival in Licodia Eubea reached its peak on Sunday, July 20th. The day of the solemnity opened with Eucharistic celebrations at 8:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 7:00 PM; at 8:30 PM, the 16th-century statue of the patron saint was carried in procession through the town's streets, welcomed by the faithful with the traditional offering of natural gifts.

The solemnity concluded an intense month of July of popular devotion, marked by the novena with thematic days, the first exhibition of the relic, and the pilgrimage to the «Pidata» in the Masera district. The festival closed, as per tradition, with shows, folklore, and fireworks launched from Castello Santapau.
