Saint Luke Festival 2025

On October 18th, 2025, the community of Capena, in the Metropolitan City of Rome, celebrated its patron saint, Saint Luke the Evangelist. As per tradition, the festival featured the procession of the saint's statue through the streets of the historic center, welcomed with affection by the inhabitants, and the return to the community of the statuette that had been kept for a year by a local family.

The day, with a gathering in Piazza San Luca, concluded with the flavors of the Capena autumn, particularly the maritozzi al mosto prepared with grape must from the harvest. The event, with free admission, was promoted by Pro Loco Capena.
