Edition 2025 — Saint Lucy

On the first Sunday of June 2025, Poggio Sannita celebrated Saint Lucy with the blessing of vehicles, in honor of the patron saint of motorists. A recurring local tradition in the village of Alto Molise.

The festival of Saint Lucy on the first Sunday of June 2025 renewed in Poggio Sannita the tradition of the blessing of vehicles, a rite cherished by the community of the village in the province of Isernia. The event, recurring every year, marked the beginning of the summer season for the village of the Babaci, between popular devotion and daily life.
