Edition 2025 — Saint Lucy

On December 13th, 2025, Lecce nei Marsi celebrated Saint Lucy in the parish church dedicated to her, combining faith, music, and tradition. The heart of the day was a Christian pop music concert, which involved the community of the small village in the Giovenco Valley in a moment of reflection and celebration in the presence of local authorities.

The celebration on December 13th, 2025, took place in the parish church of Saint Lucy with a Christian pop music concert performed by Father Riziero Cerchi, accompanied by the voices of Marusca Mei and Monica Tarquini. The songs recounted the martyrdom and spiritual message of the saint, in an event capable of speaking to the hearts of those present and strengthening the themes of faith.

Local authorities took part in the celebration, including Mayor Augusto Barile and the parish priest Don Liu, testifying to the strong devotion of the Marsican community towards Saint Lucy, a fixed tradition in the winter calendar of Lecce nei Marsi, in the province of L'Aquila.
