Edition 2025 — Saint Leonard Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Leonard Festival took place from November 5th to 7th, with the culmination on November 6th. The community of Mongiuffi renewed its ancient devotion to the Patron Saint with the novena, the opening of the chapel, the dawn Office, solemn Mass, processions through the village streets, and the blessing of the cuddure in Piazza Fontana. In the evening, the pyromusical show closed the festivities, amidst the cuzzola and roasted chestnut festivals.

Saint Leonard Festival 2025

The 2025 edition was celebrated from November 5th to 7th in Mongiuffi Melia (province of Messina), with the main day on November 6th. The eve saw the opening of the chapel, the transfer of the statue, and the Cuzzola Festival. The Saint's day opened at dawn with the Office, followed by the solemn Mass and the morning procession; at noon, in Piazza Fontana, the characteristic blessing and distribution of the cuddure took place. In the evening, the procession and the grand pyromusical show preceded the Roasted Chestnut Festival. On November 7th, the statue was escorted back to the Church of Saint Leonard.
