Saint Leonard Festival – Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the Saint Leonard Festival followed the traditional rite that has marked November 6th in Partinico for centuries. In the preceding days, the novena and the Eucharistic blessing with the saint's relics took place.

On the day of the festival, after the solemn mass at the Church of Saint Leonard, the saint's statue—depicted with chains, a symbol of his protection for prisoners—was carried in procession along the main streets of the center, accompanied by civil and military authorities. During the route, the act of entrusting the city to the patron saint was renewed with the symbolic handing over of the keys. The evening concluded with fireworks, amidst the participation of many faithful and citizens.
