Saint Lawrence Patronal Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Lawrence Patronal Festival took place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Santena, in the Metropolitan City of Turin.

The day began at 9:30 AM with mass in the parish church and the blessing of the walnut bread, prepared by the L'Isola del Forno bakery. This was followed by a procession through the town streets, led by the Canonico don Antonio Serra marching band, with a speech by the mayor in front of the Castello Cavour, refreshments offered by the administration, and the distribution of the walnut bread.

In the evening, at 7:30 PM, the Saint Lawrence dinner was held at the Scuderie of the Cavour Complex, and at 9:30 PM, the Orchestra Liscio Simpatia performed a concert behind the Castello Cavour. The festival was organized by Pro Loco Santena, the Parish, the Cavour Foundation, the Santena Senior Center, and the City of Santena.
