Edition 2025 — Saint Lawrence Festival Montecuccolo

In the summer of 2025, the Saint Lawrence Festival returned to animate the village of Montecuccolo, a hamlet of Pavullo nel Frignano, on the days around August 10th. As tradition dictates, the Parish Committee's food stands offered crescentine, borlenghi, gramigna with sausage, and polenta, accompanied by children's games, religious celebrations, and the evocative setting of the Montecuccoli castle.

The 2025 edition confirmed the success of an event that has grown since 2012 to become an anticipated fixture of the Frignano summer. In the "count's garden", behind the church, volunteers from the Parish Committee of Montecuccolo served typical dishes from the Modena Apennines, while the village at the foot of the castle offered the usual view of Monte Cimone. Alongside the food, there were moments of conviviality, religious services, and the peaceful atmosphere of the Saint Lawrence evenings, with the festival extending to the nearby hamlet of Castagneto.
