Edition 2025 — Saint Lawrence at Alone

The 2025 edition of the Saint Lawrence Festival in Alone di Casto took place in the first days of August, confirming the tradition that for decades has united the small hamlet of Valle Sabbia. Three days of religious celebrations, mountain gastronomy, music, and the Alone Bike race, with the return of many former residents tied to the village.

In 2025, the hamlet of Alone, in Casto, renewed its summer appointment with the Saint Lawrence Festival. As tradition dictates, the community gathered around the saint's little church for religious celebrations, with mass and a procession through the village streets.

Under the marquee, the flavors of Valle Sabbia cuisine were not lacking, from polenta carbonera to casoncelli, while the evenings alternated live music and moments of conviviality. The Alone Bike mountain bike race brought enthusiasts to the trails surrounding the hamlet, in a blend of tradition and sport that has accompanied the festival for years.
