Saint Julian Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the feast of Saint Julian, patron saint of Racalmuto (province of Agrigento), was celebrated on May 8th, according to the established town tradition confirmed year after year.

The program followed the classic proceedings of Sicilian patronal feasts: the solemn mass in the Church of Saint Julian, followed by the procession of the saint's simulacrum through the streets of the village, with the participation of the faithful and the accompaniment of a musical band. A day of popular devotion that confirmed the strong bond of the Racalmuto community with its civil patron.
