Saint Joseph Summer Patronal Feast and Watermelon and Pane Cunzatu Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph summer festivities in Sant'Agata di Militello took place from August 6th to 10th. The religious program included the translation of the statue on August 6th, the preparatory triduum from August 7th to 9th with the Holy Rosary and Holy Mass, and the main feast on August 10th, with celebrations from the morning and the 6:45 PM procession along Via Magenta, Via Cernaia, Via San Martino, and the seafront, where the blessing of the sea was renewed.

On the civil side, on August 8th, the E. Cosentino Promenade hosted the Watermelon and Pane Cunzatu Festival with musical entertainment, while the evening of August 10th concluded with the "Incontri d'Estate" show, a raffle, and fireworks at midnight. The organization was managed by the Saint Joseph Feast Committee together with the parish communities and the Municipality, with the patronage of the Sicilian Region.
