Saint Joseph's Feast - Tavulata

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph's Feast in Marineo, in the province of Palermo, took place according to the established tradition. The feast was preceded by the novena and Holy Masses at the Santi Ciro e Giorgio Martiri Parish.

The central moment was the setting up of the Tavulata in front of the Mother Church, with votive bread molded into symbolic shapes, along with traditional vegetables and legumes. The Holy Family figures paraded through the town streets, then reached the table for the blessing and the sharing of food with the community, in the spirit of charity towards those in need.
