Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph in Marianopoli

In 2025, Marianopoli renewed its appointment with the Saint Joseph's Feast, one of the most deeply felt traditions of the Nissena Sicily. The community gathered for the procession of the statue and the setting up of the Tavolata of Saint Joseph on Via Roma, with ritual breads, traditional sweets, and seasonal vegetables, in an atmosphere of faith and sharing.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph's Feast in Marianopoli confirmed the vitality of a religious tradition deeply rooted in the village of the Province of Caltanissetta. As every year, around March 19th, women and young people from the various neighborhoods met in front of the Mother Church to set up the great Tavolata of Saint Joseph along Via Roma.

The rites followed the usual pattern: Solemn Vespers, procession of the statue from the Church of Saint Joseph to the Mother Church, Holy Mass, and blessing of the table, laden with ritual breads and traditional dishes. At the end, according to the spirit of charity of the festival, the collected food was destined for families in difficulty through the parish.
