Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph in Carini
The 2025 edition
The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Carini took place from March 15th to 19th. On Saturday the 15th, celebrations kicked off with games for children at the Saint Joseph Oratory. On Sunday the 16th, starting at 9:00 AM, the Saint Joseph votive tables opened in various local churches, while in the afternoon, traditional pignatieddi games, the greasy pole competition, and sfincia tastings—soft pastries filled with ricotta cream also prepared by hospitality students—were held along Corso Umberto I.
The highlight was Wednesday, March 19th: at 11:30 AM, Holy Mass was held, followed by the welcoming of the Holy Family at the tables, and at 6:00 PM, the procession of the Saint Joseph statue through the historic center, marked by devotion and popular participation.

Saturday, March 15th
- 4:30 PM — Children's games at the Saint Joseph Oratory
Sunday, March 16th
- 9:00 AM — Opening of the Saint Joseph votive tables (Saint Joseph Oratory, Church of Maria SS del Rosario, Church of Saint Joseph at the Station, Church of Maria SS delle Grazie)
- 3:00 PM–6:00 PM — Traditional pignatieddi games, greasy pole, and sfincia tasting along Corso Umberto I
Wednesday, March 19th
- 11:30 AM — Holy Mass and welcoming of the Holy Family at the tables
- 6:00 PM — Procession of the Saint Joseph statue through the historic center
