Edition 2025 — Tavolate di San Giuseppe
In 2025, the Saint Joseph Festival in Valguarnera Caropepe took place over the weekend of March 22 and 23, shifted from the canonical dates of March 18-19 to facilitate visitor participation.
On Saturday evening, March 22, the municipal table was opened; Sunday, March 23, continued with lunch for guests invited to the Town Hall table, the Holy Family procession in the morning from the church sacristy, the spectacular equestrian parade with decorated horses, and in the evening, the procession of Saint Joseph through the main streets with the ancient 1827 statue, restored in 1922.
About eight or nine tables were set up, a slight decrease compared to previous years, but still faithful to the tradition of votive bread and typical dishes. The festival was organized by the municipal administration together with the Saint Joseph parish and local associations, including the Casa Museo Caripa.
