Saint Joseph Festival – Tables of Saint Joseph

In 2025, the Saint Joseph Festival in Monteparano was celebrated on Tuesday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 19, coinciding with the saint's liturgical feast day. The program combined devotional and community moments: the blessing of the bread and altars in seven different locations in the town, including the socio-cultural center, the senior center, and private homes.

After the holy mass on March 18, the Saint Joseph Table was opened in Piazza Castello, managed by the Pro Loco. On March 19, the day was marked by the Montemesola brass band playing through the town streets, the opening of additional Tables in the morning, the solemn holy mass, and the evening procession accompanied by fireworks. The organization was a joint effort between the Maria Santissima Annunziata parish, the Pro Loco, the Uniti per San Giuseppe association, and local devotional families.

Tuesday, March 18

• 16:30 — Blessing of the bread and devotional altars in seven locations (socio-cultural center, senior center, private homes)
• 18:00 — Holy mass
• After mass — Opening of the Saint Joseph Table in Piazza Castello, managed by the Pro Loco

Wednesday, March 19

• 7:30 — Holy mass; brass band playing through the town streets
• 11:30-12:00 — Opening of the Saint Joseph Tables at two locations
• 18:00 — Solemn holy mass
• 18:45 — Procession with fireworks
